Current Situation of Research and Utilization of Wild Forage Germplasm Resources in Guizhou

The wild fodder grass germplasm resource in Guizhou began in early 1980s.The results show: 1.more over 6000 specimen and their data are collected,800 germplasm resources are evaluated and there are 1410 species,430 genus,86 families in wild fodder grass and feed plants in Guizhou;2.the resource collection,identification and evaluation,cultivation and domestication,variety breeding of forage grasses and leguminous grass are systemically studied;3.the rational suggestion are put forward in the light of utilization and existing problems of wild fodder grass germplasm resources in Guizhou.
