A Brief Account of Neo - Confucianism at the reign

Abstract

Neo - Confucianism in the Qing Dynasty was on the wane. Comparing with the Early and inter Qing, Neo - Confucianism became quieter at the reign Periods of Emperors Qianlong and and Jiaqing. But behind the silence, it experienced unremitting disintegration and readjustment, and took different tasks with academic features due to the change of historical background and the appearance of new academic formation.
