Abstract
Popular Romance of the Three Kingdoms of Jiajing Renwu version is the earliest existing,the most worthy of a great importance to Romance of the Three Kingdoms of Ming Dynasty version. Compared with Romance of the Three Kingdoms of Mao's version ,it has four outstanding characteristics:It is affirmed that it provides an important basis for studying the era of the edited book Romance of the Three Kingdoms; It better preserves Luo Guan-zhong's own ideological inclination; Its certain details are more in line with the historical facts or more reasonable than Mao's version,or it does not have some type errors and omissions; Its appendix literatures are of great value.
