The novel written by Luo Guanzhong was originally called biography rather than romance, therefore, the novel of The The Three Kingdoms by Luo should be the manuscript of The History of the Three Kingdoms rather than that of The Popular Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The date of birth and death of Luo Guanzhong should accordingly be de- fined at 1320 - 1390. The novel of Three Kingdoms should be earlier than The All Men are Brothers. Meanwhile, The History of Three Kingdoms is close to the manuscript of Luo Guanzhong. Generally speaking, the manuscript of The Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong would be rougher than The Popular Romance of the Three Kingdoms written at Jia- Jing period of the Qing Dynasty, but some paragraphs are boiler than the latter.
