Abstract
The theory of the studies of Ci poetry was put forth in the early Southern Song Dynasty that the feeling and nature of the writer is the root of Ci. The feeling and nature was the essence of Ci and should convey the love for the country and hatred for the nation's being subjugated. The theory orginated from the great change of times and the loss of Ci and showed a way for the development of Ci poetry.
