Yuefuyaci was written in the early South Song Dynasty. It is the earliest selected works known, This article analyzes its selection of words and aesthetic tendency in ideology and contents to find that it represents the new change of the ci poetry in its development from the Song Dynasty. Therefore, it is valuable for research.
