Jin Jingfang's Yi

The researches on Changes done by Mr Jin Jingfang,one of my teachers,carry on the style of study in seeking argumentation,which was pioneered by Confucius 《Yi Zhuan》,and thus put forward its own systematic ideas and academic style as well.The results of research represent the level of 20th century in the study of changes and argumentation.Mr Jin believes that the value of 《Zhou Yi》 lies in its ideas and the divination is nothing but its case.The structural sequence of Sixty-four Diagrams,《Zhou Yi》 shows that the philosophy is the Unity of Opposites Dialectics and the United As One Dialectics is mentioned in 《Xi Ci》and《Tuan Zhuan》.The two changes from“heaven first,earth second”to“earth first,heaven second” in 《Zhou Yi》 and 《Gui Chang》 show the different ideas held by Lao Zi and Confucius,and the distinction of social ideology and political system development in both Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty.The methods used in 《Gui Chang》 and 《Zhou Yi》 are two different ideological methods.
