The Intra-industry Trade Structure of Japan's Service Sector and the Implications

The level and structure of intra-industry trade in services reveal a country's ability in obtaining dynamic benefits.They can also reflect the degree and stage of service trade development,as well as the competitive advantage of each specific service industry.This paper presents a general review on the development Japanese intra-industry trade in services,and analyzes the trade composition,the quality structure as well as the regional structure.We conclude that the Japanese intra-industry trade in services is highly developed and is well structured.
