Issues of Service Intra-industry Trade between China and Japan

This paper calculates and analyzes GL index of service intra-industry trade between China and Japan from 2001 to 2005,and makes the conclusions that intra-industry trade is the main pattern of the service trade structure between China and Japan,but there are different levels of intra-industry trade in different service industries,in which the transportation and communication services are the highest ones. Through the calculation of Trade Special Coefficient of every service industry,we analyze the competitiveness between China and Japan in every service industry. And on this basis,it proposes the chances and related suggestions for the development of Chinese service trade.
