Abstract

Ⅱ You 1288,a new temperature-sensitive indica hybrid rice combination,was developed by Food Crops Research Institute of Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences,which was crossed with a CMS line II-32 A and a restorer line R1288 from ourselevs.It was characterized by high and stable yield,resistant blast,better rice quality,easily high yield for seed production,etc.,and was released by Hainan province in 2009.We introduced its breeding process,main characteristics,key cultivation and hybrid seed production techniques.
