Abstract

A new hybrid rice combination II You 153 derived from the cross of a CMS line II-32A and a restorer line Ninghui 153 was developed by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Ningde City and released in Fujian proivince in 2007. The cultivar showed excellent properties of high and stable yield, wide adaptability, etc. Breeding, main characteristics, key cultivation and seed production techniques of II You 153 were introduced in this paper.
