Abstract
This research aimed to study the chemical constituents from the stems of Piper betle L.and various chromatographic techniques were used to isolate and purify the constituents. The structures of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis. The research findings are the following: Three compounds were isolated from the 70% acetone extract and their structures were identified as 1-O-hexnoyl-glyceroleterol(1),1-O-β-D-galactosyl-(6→1)-α-D-galactosyl-2,3-dihexadecanoylgl-ycerol(2),poke-weed cerebroside(3).Three compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
