Abstract

Forestation techniques and growth features of Caragana microphylla were analyzed.The results show that the optimal planting modes is site preparation of level bench or reverse-slope terrace or fish scale pit.The soil layer with dense roots of Caragana microphylla is in a layer of thickness of 40 cm.The lateral root grows vigorously.The root spread range increases higer than crown size.Shrub raises 19.8 cm annually.Ramification adds 1~4 branch·cluster-1.The biomass increases 0.19 kg·cluster-1.Timingly stumping and tending can accelerate germination and crown of shrub of Caragana microphylla.It also can increase growth and biomass of Caragana microphylla.
