Abstract

Under an endless development and evolvement process,traditional Chinese paintings possess unique characteristics of aestheticness. Unlike western modernism paintings which tend towards excessive abstractness, traditional Chinese paintings combine and coexist with representational characteristics. Being influenced by three major factors of Chinese traditional literate ideas,calligraphy and literati paintings, traditional Chinese paintings form its aesthetic characteristic of half-abstractness.
