Abstract
The miscellaneous poems written by Kong Ping-zhong of Song Dynasty are large in number and bold in style, quite different from the tradition. The Collage Poems are solemn in theme,deep in empathy, and introduced the Blending of Du Fu's Poems. The Herbal Name Poems expand the theme and function, summarize the theory of creation, making the whole poem the game of word puzzles, and echoing the Cyclic Poems and Palindromes. The Falling-Rising, Falling and Entering Tone Poems began to appear in the Four Tone Poems. The Seven-Character Verse began to appear in the Puzzle Poems of the Pronouns of the Eight Musical Instruments and Chinese Zodiac. This kind of innovation is closely related to his inventive attitude of writing.
