Abstract

Poems of Various forms in Song Dynasty include cento,metaphor,palindrome,word embedding,names of herbs,names of melody,couplet,footlog poem.etc.The number of poems of various forms was not very large,but they were popular at that time.The main reasons for the existence and popularity of these poems in Song Dynasty are poets' seeking entertaining function of poems and the idea of composing poetry with scholarship.
