Clinical curative effect observation of Jibitong Capsule in treatment of ankylosing spondylitis

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Jibitong Capsule on ankylosing spondylitis. Methods: The study enrolled 659 patients. 359 patients in treatment group were treated with Jibitong capsule, and 300 patients in control group were treated with sulfur and nitrogen SASP, after 3 months treatment efficacy was evaluated. Results: The symptoms of pain in the waist to hip, night pain, morning stif ness could obviously alleviate. Lumbar l exion, extension, lateral bending improved to normal or obviously improved. Laboratory examination showed that HLA-B27, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C reactive protein(CRP) reduced to normal or decreased. Results: Total effective rate of the treatment group was 85.6%, and that of the control group was 66.0%. There was signii cant dif erence between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion: Jibitong Capsule has a good therapeutic effect on ankylosing spondylitis.
