Thoughts on the Characteristics of Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract

Private vocational institution is an important component of non-governmental higher education,which has been rapidly growing recently with the strong support from government.In this paper,the vocational education is discussed,in particular the characteristics of higher vocational education is analysis from the concept of vocational education and the development history.Combining with author's years of working experiences in higher vocational colleges,a series of problems on teaching in higher vocational colleges are proposed.
