Spleen deficiency is the basis pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus,and the blood stasis,pathogenic dampness and yin deficiency are the secondary aspect.Blood stasis runs through the whole course of the disease,which is the cause of other complications,especially diabetic angiopathics .Therefore,we put forward the therapeutic principle as follow:reforcing qi and strengthing spleen to treat the principal aspect,activating blood and removing stasis to treat the secondary aspect,and simultaneously pay attention to the adjustment of pathogenic dampness and body fluid asthenia.
