Abstract

The evaluation methodology depends upon experts' subjective experiences excessively and treats the data strictly, which is applied in the investment decision-making of hydropower project at present.Meanwhile, there's no uniform standard for choosing evaluation index.Maximal uncorrelated method is used to analyze multiple correlations of the evaluation indexes for investment decision-making of hydropower project. And then it eliminates the evaluation indexes which have larger complex correlation coefficients. The evaluation decision-making system is built with simplified indexes. Finally, the fuzzy probability theory is applied to establish the fuzzy probability model of hydropower project investment decision-making.The application results show that the modified evaluation model overcomes the limitations of choosing evaluation index weight in practice. So,it is obviously rational and widespread used.
