Abstract
The research studied the effects of categories and concentration of adsorbed material, space velocity, relative moisture and on the performance of activated carbon fiber,in which benzene and normolheptane were used as representatives of VOCs.The results showed that normolheptane was easier adsorbed in activated carbon fiber than benzene, and the 40% breakthrough time decreased with the increase of the initial concentration, the relative moisture and the space velocity. The pipe of stainless steel was favored on adsorption. After 12 adsorption and desorption, the adsorption performance was not declined.
