Abstract

VOCs indoor after removed with activated carbon fiber was determined,in which benzene and toluene were used as representatives of VOCs.The results showed that the breakthrough time decreased with arise in initial concentration, and the adsorption of toluene was easier than that of benzene. It was happened that the benzene adsorbed in activated carbon fiber could be replaced by toluene when the mixture of benzene and toluene was adsorbed. The increased filling density was favored on adsorption.
