Abstract

In this study, the effects of different concentrations of exogenous ABA(10,15 mg·L-1),SA(300,400 mg·L-1),and CaCl2(1 400,1 800 mg·L-1) on cold damage index and physiological index of tomato seedlings were studied under the regime of day temperature(10 ±0.5 ℃)/night temperature(5 ±0.5 ℃) by spraying on leaves. The results showed that three exogenous substance treatments decreased cold damage index, increased the cold tolerance of tomato seedlings, the relative conductance rate and the MDA contents were decreased remarkably, and chlorophyll and Pro contents were increased remarkably. The treatment of 1 400 mg·L-1 CaCl2 had the best effect on increasing the cold tolerance of tomato seedlings.
