Abstract

Recent research on literature,history,philosophy and art shows that the late Ming Dynasty is transforming period in the history.XU Wei and HUANG Dao-Zhou's calligraphy works had this kind of characteristics in Chinese calligraphy history.This paper uses the result of social history research for reference,describes transformation characteristics of earlier modernization of Chinese society.At the same time,it combines transformation characteristic of calligraphy in this period.This paper thinks that the calligraphy current was in accordance with the transformation of the society.
