The Social Causes about Transformation of Calligraphy and Painting in Ming Dynasty

The later Ming Dynasty was a confusion period in Chinese history.Recent years,it was regarded as a historical transforming period more and more clearly through the research of disciplines as philosophy,literature etc.From calligraphy and painting history,some artists and their works of this period are not only glorious but also greatly influenced the later generation like Xu-Wei,Chen Hongshou etc.This thesis delineated the basic circumstance of the calligraphy and painting history,and emphasized the causes deriving from the social factor.
