Abstract

Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of thrombolysis with rt-PA intravenous in recurrent cerebral infarction.Methods:26 patients within 3h after the onset of stroke were enrolled in our trial and every patient was given rt-PA 0.9mg/kg intravenously. The NIHSS scores were used before thrombolysis and at 24h,7d,14d,90d after thrombolysis and the BI scale were used before thrombolysis and at 90d for assessing the efficacy. At the same time, the safety was assessed by clinical observation. Results:The NIHSS scores were improved at each time point after thrombolysis(all P 0.01).At 90d,the BI scale were improved(all P 0.01)..3 patients occurred intracerebral hemorrhage, and one of them died within 3 months. Conclusion:Thrombolysis with rt-PA intravenous in recurrent cerebral infarction within 3 hours of onset is efficient and safe.
