Abstract
AIM: To establish a HPLC for determination of baicalin and emodin in Yiqing Capsule(Radix Scutellarial, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei). METHODS:A Kromasil C_(18) Column was used. The mobile phase was methanol -0.2% phosphoric acid for gradient elution. Baicalin and emodin were determined by dual wavelength, λ_1=315 nm, λ_2=266 nm. RESULTS:The linear range of baicalin was within 64.40-322.00 μg·mL~(-1) (r=(0.999 8)). The average recovery was 99.96%,RSD was 1.57%(n=9). The linear range of emodin was within( 0.82)-13.20 μg·mL~(-1)(r=0.999 9).The average revovery was 98.90%, RSD was 1.25%(n=9). CONCLUSION: This method has good repeatability and flexibility. It can be used for quality control in production of Yiqing Capsule. (Nan
