Abstract
Objective To investigate the examination skills and diagnostic value of Color Doppler ultrasound in subclavian Artery Steal Stndrome(SSS).Methods 23 cases confirmed SSS were selected during 2010August to 2013 year in June in our hospital,Twodimensional and color Doppler ultrasonography were given on Carotid artery, vertebral artery and subclavian artery, and analyse the hemodynamic characteristics. Results 20 patients with atherosclerosisa and 3 patients with Takayasu's arteritis in 23 cases.According to the spectral characteristics of the vertebral arteries, all cases were classified into 3 different types:the insidious type in 7cases, systolic notch in the ipsilateral vertebral artery;the partial type in 11 cases, the ipsilateralvertebral artery systolic flow reversal;the complete type in 5 cases, the psilateral vertebral artery systolic and diastolic all reverse. Conclusion Color doppler ultrasound has obvious advantages inearlyscreening for SSS,and can dive the etiological diagnosis for most SSS.
