Abstract

The study aimed to determine the lead in tea by using the graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS)with wet digestion. The digestion conditions were optimized separately from the digestion fl uid and soaking times and sample digestion quantity to establish the most appropriate digestion method. When HNO3-HClO4 mixed system was taken as the digestion liquid for digesting the tea samples with 6h soaking and the GFAAS was used to determine the Lead in the tea samples. The recovery was 98.6%-101.9% and the precise RSD was 0.52%.
