Abstract

The speed of run up is highly correlative with the result of long jum p and it is the main factor that influences the distance of long jump.The reason able link from high－speed to take off is the key to long jump techniques.The go al of run up is to obtain faster horizontal speed and make technical,physical an d psychological preparations for beating the take off board accurately and quick ly.
