Abstract

Purpose To establish a method for the determination of the thymosin β_4 seven peptide fragment(17-23) in trichogeous gel.MethodsThe thymosin β_4 seven peptide in trichogeous gel was determined with reversed phase HPLC under the condition as follows: column: Synergy~(tm) RP-MAX(C-12,150 mm×4.6 mm,4 μm),mobile phase: trifluroacetic-acetonitrile-water,in gradient;detection wavelength:215 nm.ResultsA good linear relationship(r=0.999 8) was obtained within the range of 0.02-0.18 mg/mL with an average recovery of 100.06% and RSD of 0.59%(n=9).ConclusionThe established reversed phase HPLC method was simple, rapid and accurate for the content determination of the thymosin β_4 seven peptide fragment(17-23) in trichogeous gel.
