On the Specific Characteristics of Higher Education in Tibetan Ethnic Areas

Higher education in Tibetan ethnic areas plays an important role in maintaining its social economic development and political environment stability. Higher education here,which distinguishes from that in more developed places,has so many special aspects such as the cultivated objects,service area,school environment and administration of education,etc. Thus,we should study and pay more attention to its characteristics. This is not only the embodiment of respecting the Tibetan areas educational law,but the due scientific altitude on researching and carrying out the ethnic education. This also shows us the important theory and realistic meaning to the future education. In a word,we must have special strategies to develop higher education in Tibetan ethnic area.
