Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Yuxingeng liquid(愈心梗液) on early ventricular remodeling in Wistar rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods:The AMI models were established by ligating left anterior descending coronary artery and the rats with AMI were randomly divided into 7 groups.Two days after establishing models the rats were fed on Yuxingeng liquid through the gastrotube for 4 weeks then the multiple parameters of left ventricular hemodynamics and the plasma content of endothelin(ET) and angiotensin Ⅱ(AngⅡ) were measured.Results:Comparing with model group,the heart index,left ventricle weight,plasma content of ET and left ventricular enddiastolic pressure(LVEDP) in Wistar rats with AMI were significantly decreased and left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP) and maximum rate of left ventricular pressure rise (+dp/dtmax) increased in highdose,middledose Yuxingeng liquid group and captopril group (P0.05 or P0.01),otherwise in highdose Yuxingeng liquid and captopril group the plasma contents of AngⅡ were significantly reduced (both P0.05).Conclusions:Yuxingeng liquid can remarkably reduce the left ventricle weight,heart index,plasma content of ET and AngⅡ, and improve the left ventricular function.It is showed that Yuxingeng liquid has a certain effect on interventing in pathological course of the early ventricular remodeling in rats with AMI.
