Abstract

The results of field test demonstrated that Nitenpyram had quick and persistent control effect on Nilaparvata lugens in rice field. The effect of 50% Nitenpyram WSG at the dose of 22.5~52.5 g/hm2 was 84.70%~90.81% on the third day after spraying;and the effect of 50% Nitenpyram WSG at the dose of 37.5~52.5 g/hm2 was still 89.84%~96.06% from the 14th day to the 21st day after application. So the suitable dosage of 50% Nitenpyram WSG for the control of Nilaparvata lugens in rice field should be 37.5~52.5 g/hm2 based on the control effect and control cost.
