Abstract
Objective To show the efficiency of mini-screws used as anchorage for molar intrusion.Methods Five patients with anterior open-bite and two patients with extruded molars were treated with mini-screws as anchorage for molar intrusion.Lateral cephalograms were taken at the beginning and the end of the treatment.The vertical movement of molars was analyzed.Results The open-bite patients' overjet and overbite were corrected,and the molars were intruded about 2~4mm.Conclusion Mini-srcews are an effective method to intrude molars.
