Abstract
Objective To study the efficiency of mini-screw implants as anchorage for molar intrusion. Methods Nine patients with extruded molars were treated with mini-screw implants as anchorage for molar intrusion.Lateral cephalograms were taken at the beginning and the end of the treatment. The movements of molars in vertical dimension were analyzed. Results All overerupted molars were intruded perfectly(2.7±0.7)mm.The average period of the intrusion was (4.1±2.3) months. Conclusion To intrude molar,mini-srcew implant is an effective method.
