Abstract

According to the moving feature of the mould and the relationship between the tool and the blank, the equation of virtual work and the technique of contact element have been established, the contact point model, the contact boundary model, the calculation of the contact force model and the friction model in numerical simulation of the sheet metal forming are also analysed in detail. Finally,a simulation example is given.
