Abstract
In the FE simulation of contact and friction processes in sheet metal forming,in order to get reliable calculation results,the dynamic contact of the sheet metal with the die needs to be simulated accurately.In this paper, geometry of the model,contact algorithm,and the FE simulation model for contact friction problem by the VFRIC user subroutine were established based on the comprehensive analysis of contact friction problem in sheet metal forming and the ABAQUS software. At last, the ways applied were proved to be satisfactory with the numerical example.
