Abstract
In this article, the importance and some other characteristics of building up BIP-MAN are introduced firstly, followed by the introduction of wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)and coarse wavelength division multiplexing(CWDM)with concept, technical characteristics, etc. The applications of CWDM technology in BIP-MAN are studied finally.
