Analysis on the effect of Irbesartan in inflammatory factors of patients with hypertension

Objective To investigate of Irbesartan in inflammatory factors of patients with hypertension.Methods 293 patients with hypertension were divided into experiment group(193 cases) and control group(100 cases),who were randomly selected in our hospital.Control group received conventional antihypertensive treatment,patients in the experiment group were given Irbesartan on the basis of the control group.Results After treatment,the diastolic blood pressure and pulse pressure of two groups were significantly differences(P 0.05),but systolic blood pressure had no significant difference(P 0.05);inflammation factor of patients in the experiment group were lower than before treatment and that of control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Irbesartan not only reduce blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension but also reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in serum,thereby reducing the risk of adverse events in patients.
