Preliminary Study of Plus Tree Selection of Castanopsis fissa

Abstract

Selecting a fine tree of Castanopsis fissa out of 5 dominant trees,5 plus trees were selected firstly;the average DBH,tree height individual volume is 17.3%-108.8%,10.9%-49.5%,50.0%-384.1% greater than that of the contrast tree.Result shows that: plus tree selection of Castanopsis fissa plantation is feasible;reference on elite selection for Castanopsis fissa in future was provided.
