A Survey on the the Location of Kaibian County Local Government in Sui and Tang Dynasty——Also for discussion with Mr Lan Yong

Abstract

Mr Lan Yong holds that the seat of Kaibian County local government in Sui dynasty is near today's Kongtan Town in Yibin,Sichuan Province,while the seat of Kaibian County local government in Sui dynasty is in today's Shuifu County,Yunnan.However,no historic evidence could prove its authenticity.The seat of Kaibian County local government of Sui dynasty and Tang dynasty(before 760) should be near today's Tantou Town in Yanjin County Yunnan,and the seat of Kaibian County local government of Tang dynasty and Song dynasty(766—967) should be in Xiaoanba,Huoyan Village,Anbian Town in Yibin,Sichuan Province.
