Abstract
This paper studies the characteristics of the natural environment of the traditional folk houses of Guizhou province and the ecological characteristics of the houses under the integrated effect of history,culture and geography to discover the ecological value,historic meaning and operation significance of the folk houses which are plain and widespread.The study could also be the theoretical proof of new design of folk houses with ecological values.
