Abstract
This paper introduces the human geography in Sanyan,analyzes and studies the characteristics of the watchtower-like folk houses from the viewpoints of architecture and urban planning,so as to increase the readers' understanding of watchtower-like folk houses and promote the research on the traditional Chinese folk houses.
