Observation of Clinical Efficacy and Its Safety of Magnesium Sulphate in the Treatment of Asthmatic Diseases in Pediatric

Objective:To explore the effect of Magnesium sulfate in treatment of children with asthmatic diseases.Method:100 children with pediatric asthmatic diseases in our hospital were selected from December 2011 to March 2013.They were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to different order of admission,50 cases in each group.Two groups were given comprehensive treatment.The treatment group on the basis of conventional treatment was combined with 25% magnesium sulfate,0.1-0.2 mL/(kg·d),adding 5% glucose diluted to 1%-1.4% concentration of liquid intravenous drip,drip off 1 hour,once per day,3 days for one period of treatment,the patient's clinical presentation at any time were observed,symptoms and signs of easing of the two groups were analyzed.Result:The treatment group in cough,wheezing,pulmonary symptoms disappeared time and hospitalization time compared with the control group were significantly reduced,cost of hospitalization was significantly lower than the control group,and the total efficiency of 96.0% in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(86.0%),the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive treatment combined with magnesium sulfate is beneficial for patient with asthmatic disease,and it has the advantages of good curative effect,quick,safe and non-toxic side effect,is worth the clinical promotion.
