Abstract
The lithology, structure, physical and mechanical properties of rock mass and possible failure mechanism of the slope at the outlet of the diversion tunnel at the right bank,Jinchuan Hydropower Station were studied.A three-dimensional geological model was established by using computer aided software. The combination modes of the structure plane for the slope were analyzed, and then the locations of blocks cut by the structural planes were determined. The stability of potentially unstable blocks was calculated by means of the Swedge software, business analysis software for the stability of rock slope wedges. The calculated results show that the slope is stable under various working conditions.
