Feelings of Reading The Nanzhao Country and the Southwest Border of the Tang Dynasty

From Qin dynasty to Tang dynasty,dynasties in Central Plains governed Yunnan through building five-foot road,appointing officials.These records indicated that Yunnan was very close to dynasties of Central Plains.In The Naozhao Dynasty and the Northwest Countryside of the Tang Dynasty,the writer,Charles Barks,said that relations between Yunnan and dynasties in Central Plains became very estranged,and the independence of Yunnan was not over until the invasion of the Mongolia army in 1253.This view was wrong and went against the historical facts.
