The Meaning and Value of Hu Feng's “The Spirit of Subjective Struggle”

Abstract

The present paper elaborates on Hu Feng's “The Spirit of Subjective Struggle” in order to correct the misunderstanding and criticism on it. It states that Shu Wu had some similarities with “The Spirit of Subjective Struggle”in his On Subjectivity, while the connotative meaning of Shu Wu's subjectivity is different from Hu Feng's “The Spirit of Subjective Struggle”. Hu Feng shared some similarity with Chairman Mao's opinion and he even added some valuable sug gestions which hnd been not covered by Chairman Mao.
