Clinical Observation of Etananercept Combined with Tripterygium in Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective To analyze the efficacy of Etananercept combined with Tripterygium in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods 64 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were divided into the observation group and control group(32 in each group).The observation group received Etananercept combined with Tripterygium,and the control group received Etananercept combined with Methotrexate.The clinical effect in the two groups was observed.Results Early morning stiffness time,joint tenderness and tumescence,restricted joint motion erythrocyte sedimentation rate,and Disease Activity Score(DAS28) in both groups were better improved,and there were significant differences before and after treatment(P0.05).All the indicators in observation group were better than those in control group,and the difference was significant(P0.05).On the second day after treatment,joint pain was alleviated in both groups,and the symptoms were eased constantly.In the 1st,2nd,4th,8th and 12th week,the alleviation rates in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.During the 12 weeks,adverse reaction rate in observation group was 15.6%,and 21.9% in control group,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Etanercept combined with Tripterygium in treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis may bring about quick effect and better safety.
