Abstract
Dyeing mechanism of cationic modified ramie fiber with acid dyestuff were studied,such as dyeing rate,isothermal adsorption model,affinity and so on.The sorption of anionic dyestuff on quanternary ammonium sites of cationic modified ramie fiber abided by Langmuir equation.The combination between acid dyestuff and cationic modified ramie fiber was ionic bond and van der Waals force.The affinity and dye uptake between acid dyestuff and cationic modified ramie fiber was improved.
